Carolina Hurricanes
The Hartford Whalers moved to Carolina in 1997. The newly-created Carolina Hurricanes got off to a pretty quick start making it to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2002 and winning in 2006. The team plays at the PNC Arena and, as of 2019, their captain is Jordan Staal.
